Our hotel restaurant offers everything your guest's heart desires culinary-wise.
- In the morning: start your day with a rich breakfast buffet in our hotel restaurant (included in the price). You can sit in the modern breakfast dining area or on the sun terrace.
- At noon: on selected days, our restaurant team offers gourmet menus or themed buffets at lunchtime. On this page you will find the next dates.
During your visit to Sonnenlandpark, the self-service gastronomy of the leisure park is available to you. - In the evening: as a hotel guest, you can directly book our half-board offer and be pampered either with a 3-course menu or a varied evening buffet (the choice is made by the head chef).
For business travelers, we also offer a selection of dishes on our evening menu.
For hotel guests
In the evening, we offer our hotel guests culinary 3-course menus or delicious themed buffets (chosen by the chef) as part of the half-board. Let yourself be surprised by the culinary variety. Special attention is also given to our little guests with popular children's dishes.
Prices for half-board:
- Children 0-3 years > free
- Children 4-11 years > 11 € per evening
- Persons from 12 years > 32 € per evening
Half-board is already included in many offers, but can also be booked individually in advance. Please feel free to contact us.
For day guests
Whether for a cozy dinner, one of our culinary buffets at lunchtime, sociable coffee gatherings with family, or other celebration wishes, we are happy to be your contact.
We are pleased to send you our culinary calendars or inform you about the current evening menus.

Our kitchen team
The best reason to visit our hotel restaurant is our creative kitchen team led by head chef Thilo Junghanns (left). Treat yourself to the constantly new creations, which are always based on seasonal delicacies and largely regional products. Whether à la carte or buffets – this is something you shouldn't miss.
Tip: even our youngest guests find it simply DELICIOUS!
Our culinary calendar
- February 14th Valentine's Day Dinner: after a romantic walk through the light worlds in Sonnenlandpark, indulge in a 4-course candlelight dinner in the hotel restaurant.
- Easter buffets on Easter Sunday and Monday: treat yourself to a great family meal on the Easter holidays at lunchtime - preferably combined with your Easter outing to our Sonnenlandpark. The table is set from 12 o'clock.
- May 10th Gourmet Buffet for Mother's Day: use the day to say thank you to moms with a delicious gourmet buffet at lunchtime. Tip: afterwards, head to an excursion in the Sonnenlandpark.
- November 9th / 16th / 19th - Martin's Goose Dinner: Who can say no to delicious roast goose! Book your table for the Martin's Goose Dinner in our hotel restaurant. We serve our Martin's Goose menu optionally as a 3-course or even 4-course gourmet menu at lunchtime. Starting from 12 pm.
- Every Advent Sunday - festive Advent buffet: Christmas time is time to pamper and indulge! Without stress in the home kitchen, we serve you a Christmas lunch buffet that leaves nothing to be desired.
- December 25th / 26th - festive Christmas dinner with the family: enjoy the Christmas holidays without stress and without lack of space in your own four walls in our hotel restaurant and let yourself be spoiled by countless delicacies.
Our themed buffets and menus are always offered by prior reservation at lunchtime from 12 - 2 pm in our hotel restaurant for day guests as well as hotel guests. Feel free to combine the restaurant visit with a subsequent excursion to Sonnenlandpark. Depending on the season, you can expect amusement park attractions or the light worlds in the winter months.

Opening hours in the restaurant
- Breakfast time: Monday to Friday from 6:30 - 9:30 AM // weekends, public holidays and holidays 7:30 - 10:00 AM
- Dinner within the half board is served from 6:00 - 7:30 PM.
- Hotel bar open as needed
- Minibar with snacks and drinks accessible 24 hours via room card
- Rest days in the restaurant: we reserve one rest day per week for dinner service (we will inform you in advance). There are generally no rest days during Saxony holidays and before public holidays. From November, Sunday evening is planned as a rest day in the restaurant.
