Due to its ongoing expansion towards Wechselburg as well as its eventful industrial history, the railway track cycle path links past, present and future in an experiential way. From the confluence of the Würschnitz and Zwönitz rivers, the Chemnitz Valley Cycle Path currently extends to Göritzhain over a total length of about 30 kilometers.

The BLOCKLINE is a unique bike adventure in the Erzgebirge for cycling enthusiasts. Whether with an e-bike, classic mountain bike, or gravel bike. Besides the bike signage (counterclockwise), the theme of wood links the route between the international winter sports center Altenberg and the toy village of Seiffen: wooden portals, information boards, milestones, and motif milestones point the way to a land of impressive panoramas.
