December is surrounded by a special magic in Saxony. It is no coincidence that the Ore Mountains are often called Christmas Land at this time. Countless small and large Christmas markets, mining parades, and not least the unique woodcraft attract visitors to the region. We warmly invite you to enjoy this time together with us.

The largest Christmas market in the region is the Chemnitz Christmas Market from 28.11.-23.12.2025. Traditional crafts, regional and international delicacies, the scent of mulled wine, countless shopping opportunities for your Christmas purchases, and great offers for children right in the city center give it a special flair.
In just 10 minutes by car you are in the middle of the Christmas hustle and bustle and can then enjoy the tranquility of our hotel. Or you can use bus line 642 on weekends directly from our hotel for a stress-free arrival.

During the Advent season, the Ore Mountains shine with a very special glow. In addition, there are many small and larger traditional Christmas markets to discover. Special highlights include the mountain parades in Freiberg, Marienberg, or Seiffen.
