Opening of the 2026/2027 winter season at Sonnenlandpark

Winter becomes dazzlingly illuminated - with the Winter Magic at Sonnenlandpark our big winter season begins again from 13 November 2026 with lots of enchanting highlights and a journey through Europe.

And here's what to expect:

• From dusk, huge light attractions and countless light decorations transform the park grounds into a fascinating world of lights 
• Highlight: the large laser shows above the Sonnenlandpark lake in the evening as well as the 60 m high illuminated experience pyramid offering an incredible view over the glowing park area
• During the day, you can stroll through the large wildlife park with over 200 animals 
• Great winter attractions such as the artificial ice skating area, Wellenflieger, Komet, Helios and the panorama swing provide plenty of winter fun
• The indoor play world also invites you to warm up with romping fun on 1,200 m² of indoor play area.

13 November 2026 to 21 February 2027
every Thursday to Sunday from 1:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Additional opening days:

• Public holiday on 18 November 2026 open from 1:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• Christmas holidays open daily from 1:00 PM – 8:00 PM
  with the following closed days: on 24 December // 31 December // 1 January
• Saxon winter holidays from 6 February to 21 February 2027 open daily from 1:00 PM – 8:00 PM
