Start of the 2026 Summer Amusement Park Season

Start into the anniversary season 2026 at Sonnenlandpark Lichtenau!

From April 1* 2026 at the latest, all of the over 45 popular attractions in the leisure park area can be enjoyed daily again. You can also visit our wildlife park with over 200 animals, the indoor play world IN-Sola, and the many playgrounds daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

What to expect from spring 2026

The summer season 2026 will be something very special because Sonnenlandpark is turning 20 years old. Since 2006, we have been offering you lots of family experiences, play & fun. Whether riding the Ferris wheel and park train, action on the Nautic Jet and Butterfly, races on the children's quad track or pedal car track, and much more. The little ones can look forward to the popular toddler carousel “Hasenhüpfer” and of course Germany's largest slide tower once again offers incredible sliding fun on its 11 giant slides. The highlight is undoubtedly the huge adventure pyramid with an observation platform at 35 m height, elevator, and brand new from spring: a skywalk to the adjacent slide tower.

Not only on bad weather days, our IN-Sola – the park's own indoor playground – invites you to romp around with a large play and romp world, toddler paradise, electric cars, bouncy castles, and much more. And our large wildlife park also awaits you with over 200 animals. Whether red deer, Alpine ibex, white fallow deer, sika deer, or our goats in the petting zoo! Everyone enjoys the change and the engagement from the visitors.

*Note: the season start is planned for April 1. If the April weather does not yet allow the opening of all attractions, we will still open with adjusted attraction offerings. An earlier opening from March is reserved.
